Q1 : To run the PictBridge test, customer needs to submit TMLD, but becoming CIPA member is NOT mandatory. Is this understanding correct?

A: CIPA membership is not mandatory, but it has to pay the document fee to get PictBridge spec (CIPA-DC001-2003).

Q2 : PictBridge Logo maintenance fee (for non CIPA members) should be paid by project, or only for the first submission?

A: PictBridge Logo maintenance fee is one time payment to get TMLA. So, they do not have to pay by Test/Project base. This agreement can cover the Subsidiary companies if their mother company has TMLA. PS:TMLA = TRADEMARK MASTER LICENSE AGREEMENT
